If you’re travelling to the Gold Coast because you want to see its beauty first-hand, visiting various attractions and exploring its shopping and dining scene is a good start. But if you really want to savour and marvel at the Gold Coast’s beauty, why not experience these two unique activities on your visit.
First on the list is going on board the Quack'rDuck for a one-of-a-kind Gold Coast adventure.
So what is Quack'rDuck? They offer a daily Gold Coast tour which departs from the Quack’rDuck Piazza Tour Desk, Cnr Elkhorn Avenue and Orchid Avenue, Surfers Paradise. To see all the region has to offer, you need to ride their Quack’rDuck duck bus. This bus will tour you around the city.
But that is not all! As mentioned, this is a one-of-a-kind Gold Coast adventure. After touring the city, get ready to plunge into the water for a different type of sightseeing. Do not fear, as the Quack’rDuck duck bus is an amphibious vehicle. This means that it can safely run on land and in water. Now, this tour can give you a better view of the natural scenery and the skyline as well as Marina Mirage, Paradise Waters and more.
Next is visiting the Gold Coast’s highest attraction which is also the world's tallest residential building.
Located on Level 77 of the iconic Q1 Building, SkyPoint Observation Deck gives visitors a 360- degree view of Surfers Paradise. In this deck, there are visual displays showing the region’s key attractions as well as high-powered binoculars. If you want to relax or grab a bite, there is a SkyPoint Bistro + Bar, it is open for breakfast at 7:30AM.
And since you are there, why not level up your experience a little bit more. If you don’t mind the height, why not experience the SkyPoint Climb? This open-air adventure offers different climbs. If you’re a morning person and don't mind being fully awake at 4:40AM on a Saturday morning, then the Sunrise Climb where you can watch the beautiful sunrise over the Gold Coast is perfect.
Too early? Well, there is another schedule available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7:20AM. It's called the Morning Climb and Dine Package which includes a hot buffet breakfast.
If you’re not an early bird, there is a Day Climb as well as a Day Climb and Dine Package available daily from 9:40 AM to 2:40 PM.
Do you prefer a later view? How about a Twilight Climb where you can see the sun sets over the region. Or, a Night Climb where you can witness the dazzling lights of the city. This is available every Friday and Saturday from 6:30 PM.
Are you ready to do these activities on your trip to the Gold Coast? Then make sure to book everything in advance, especially your Surfers Paradise holiday accommodation. Don’t know where to stay?
